Meeting a 10% renewables planning requirement (or the Merton Rule)
As explained here the Merton Rule or 10% on-site energy requirement can be confusing if you are not used to it and can cause delays to your project. Code for Sustainable Homes assessments
All new dwellings have require a mandatory rating against the Code for Sustainable Homes since the 1st May 2008. The introduction of this standard is revolutionising the design of all dwellings in the UK. Some Council's Planning Authority's are already demanding level 3 on the code for sustainable homes be achieved; this equates to a 25% reduction in CO2 emissions below current building regulation levels, plus a host of other sustainable elements being met. We are able to conduct Code assessments and pre-assessments to then advise you on how to increase the rating your development will achieve.
Carbon Footprint Analysis
We can carry out various Carbon Footprinting exercises on elements of your business/company and either work out life cycle emissions for your products, or get to an overall footprint of its production and provide ways to reduce it.
